Press to record your personal greetings

Your personal greetings let callers know that they have reached the correct mailbox. Messaging Voice Mail lets you have three different greetings: busy, standard, and out-of- office.

To record your busy greeting1 for when you are on the phone, press 1.

To record your standard greeting for when you are away from your desk, press 2.

To record your out-of-office greeting1 for when you are on vacation or traveling, press 3.

Press to change your security code

Enter a new security code, then press the # key.

Press to record your name

If a name is currently recorded, Messaging Voice Mail plays it then gives you a chance to change the name.

Press to record an announcement for a mailbox you sponsor.

You may use this feature to record an announcement for your Extension Specific Processing mailbox. If a recording exists, Messaging Voice Mail plays it then gives you a chance to change the recording.

Note: You can only use this option if you sponsor a mailbox.

Press to change language selection

If your mailbox can greet callers in several languages, this feature lets you switch languages so you can record your personal greeting in each language. After you switch the language, voice prompts will play in the new language during that session only.
