Getting Started

Messaging Voice Mail can automatically guide new users through the process of setting up their mailboxes. However, if you are not guided through this process, follow these steps to record your name and personal greeting and set your security code. It is important that you set up your mailbox before using Messaging Voice Mail.

Note: Each Messaging Voice Mail system may be configured differently so check with the system administrator for exact setup instructions.

Access your subscriber mailbox

Dial the Messaging Voice Mail internal or external telephone number

Press the key that your system has been configured for to access messages

Normally this is the # key, but the system administrator can change it to another key or sequence of keys.

Alternatively, if the system administrator has enabled quick logon, then you may access your subscriber mailbox by calling your own phone number. When your own personal greeting begins to play, press the key on your telephone that your system administrator configured as the one to use for quick logon. Contact your administrator for more information.

Enter your subscriber mailbox number

If Messaging Voice Mail recognizes your phone number it will not prompt you for you mailbox number, just your security code.
