Important:

LUse only the included 6 V/500 mA AC adaptor when connecting the base unit.

LUse only the included 9 V/350 mA AC adaptor when connecting the charger.

Note:

LIf the handset is not charged, you cannot make or answer calls.

LNever install telephone wiring during a lightning storm.

LThe AC adaptors must remain connected at all times. (It is normal for the adaptors to feel warm during use.)

LThis unit is not designed to be used with rotary (pulse dialling) services.

Battery installation

1Insert the battery as shown. Insert the S and T end of the battery first.

2Close the battery cover.

Note:

LUse only a rechargeable battery (page 4).

Battery charge

Place the handset on the charger for about 5.5 hours before initial use. The charge indicator turns red while the battery is charging, and turns green when the battery is fully charged.
