WHAT IS THE

UCR-150L

ROBOT?

The Conair UCR-150L Robot is a pneumatic robot that removes the sprue/part from the injection molding machine. The UCR-150L minimizes injection machine pause time with a fast take-out time (1.5 second) by utilizing the slide cylinder in addition to the main arm cylinder.

The robot is mounted on a fixed platen on the injection mold machine. When the mold-open-complete signal goes from the mold machine to the robot controller, the strip frame slides down at the same time the main cylinder arm enters the mold area; the gripper grips the sprue/part and removes the item to a designated area. When the arm moves outside the mold area the robot can release the sprue/part with or without the option- al second descent.

APPLICATIONS

Conair UCR-150L Robot isideal for applications requiring quick, consistent part removal. The robot exchanges signals via the SPI interface on the mold machine to ensure pre- dictable, constant cycle times. This feature avoids setup prob- lems and allows accurate time quoting for production and maintenance schedules.
