Configuring Remote PAD Support
You can configure remote PAD support with SAM or by editing configurable parameters in the /etc/x25/x29hosts and /etc/x25/x3config files. The x29hosts file contains general parameters for each remote device and the x3config file contains X.3 communications profile parameters for each device declared in the x29hosts file. See Appendix B, X.25 Configuration Files and Examples, for examples of the x29hosts and x3config files.
Configuring pad_spt Parameters
Remote PAD support parameters are specified in the pad_spt section of the x29hosts file. An example pad_spt section with parameter values is shown below.
