Días 5 a 8 - Fase de distracción

Lleve a cabo tres sesiones por día, cada una de ellas con una duración de 10 a 15 minutos.

Objetivo:

Adiestrar a su mascota para que se quede dentro de la zona autorizada con distracciones fuera de la zona autorizada.

Preparación:

•Programe el collar receptor al nivel nº 3 o nº 4 dependiendo del tamaño y temperamento de su mascota.

•Ponga un collar no metálico separado en el cuello de su mascota POR ENCIMA del collar receptor y fije una correa. Nota:Asegúrese de que el collar extra no ejerce presión sobre los puntos de contacto.

•Tenga golosinas para perros disponibles.

•Tenga su juguete favorito disponible.

•Cree distracciones para tentar a su mascota a entrar en las zonas de advertencia y de estimulación estática, como por ejemplo:

-Haga que un miembro de la familia cruce desde dentro de la zona autorizada hacia afuera de ella.

-Tire una pelota fuera de la zona autorizada.

-Haga que un vecino pasee a su mascota fuera de la zona autorizada.

Pasos:

1.Controlando a su perro completamente con una correa, haga que se presenten las distracciones.

2.Si su mascota no se mueve hacia la distracción, hágale elogios y ofrézcale una golosina.

3.Si su mascota reacciona a la distracción, deje que vaya a la zona de estimulación estática.

4.Ayude a su mascota a volver a la zona autorizada si no vuelve después de 3 segundos.

5.Déle una golosina y hágale un elogio en cualquier momento que vuelva a la zona autorizada con o sin ayuda.

6.Repita este proceso con otras distracciones. Use otros miembros de la familia durante este proceso.

Días 9 a 14 - Supervisión sin correa

Las sesiones de adiestramiento deben empezar en 10-15 minutos, incrementándose gradualmente a aproximadamente una hora.

Su mascota estará lista para este paso sólo cuando claramente evite toda la línea de los banderines, independientemente de que haya distracciones o tentaciones. Durante este paso, no deje a su mascota desatendida.

Objetivo:

Dar a su mascota una escapada libre en la zona autorizada sin la correa.

Preparación:

Ajuste el collar receptor al ajuste apropiado permanente para su perro dependiendo de su tamaño y temperamento.

Pasos:

1.Entre en la zona autorizada con su perro llevando el collar receptor.

2.Camine alrededor de la zona y juegue con su mascota, quedándose siempre dentro de la zona autorizada.

3.Ocúpese con otra tarea cuando esté en la zona mientras que vigila a su perro.

4.En caso de que su mascota escape, quite el collar receptor o desactive el sistema en el transmisor de valla y llévele de nuevo a la zona autorizada.

¡Su perro está listo para correr! Compruebe a su mascota a intervalos regulares.

Nota: Después de que haya terminado satisfactoriamente el adiestramiento de su perro, vaya retirando los banderines cada 4 días hasta que se hayan retirado todos. Guarde banderines para un uso futuro.
