Questo è il perimetro più comune e quello che consente al cane di spostarsi liberamente e in modo sicuro in tutta la proprietà (2C). Questo perimetro

Esempio 2 (2E): circuito chiuso con recinzione esistente (singolo perimetro)

Questo layout consente di includere la recinzione esistente e di evitare che il cane possa saltare sopra o scavare sotto la recinzione esistente. Richiede anche una minore quantità di filo. Partendo dal trasmettitore, collegare il filo a A, da A a B, da B a C, da C a D, da D a E e da E a A, quindi attorcigliare i fili d'antenna in uscita da A sul retro del trasmettitore.
