Large Loaf (1 l/2 pounds)

1 l/4 CUPS water l/3 cup honey

2 tablespoons margarine or butter, softened

2 cups Gold Medal Better for Bread’M flour

1 114 cups Gold Medal whole wheat floul

1 112 teasDOcJ”S salt

1 teaspo& ground mace

2 teaspoons regular active dry yeast na

1 3/4 teaspoons bread machine yeast or quick-acting active dry yeast

Mix-ins:

l/2 cup dried cranberries

Fruitcake Bread

Small Loaf (1 pound)

314 cup water

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon margarine or butter, softened

1 114 cups Gold Medal@ Better for BreadTM flour

3/4 cup Gold Medal whole wheat flour 1 teaspoon salt

l/4 teaspoon ground mace

2 teaspoons regular active dry yeast

OR

1 l/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast or quick-acting active dry yeast

Mix-ins:

l/3 cup dried cranberries

2 tablespoons margarine or butter, softened

3 114 cups Gold Medal@ Better for BreadTM flour

l/4 cup packed brown sugar 1 112 teaspoons salt

l/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg l/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1 314 teaspoons regular active dry yeast

OR

1 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast or quick-acting active dry yeast

Mix-ins:

l/2 cup chopped dried fruit

1. Remove bread pan; attach kneading blade.

Small Loaf (1 pound)

314 cup water

1 tablespoon margarine or butter. softened

1 tablespoon acked brown sugar

1 teaspoon sa Pt

l/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg Dash of ground cloves

1 g;t teaspoons regular active dry yeast

1 l/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast or quick-acting active dry yeast

Mix-ins:

l/3 cup chopped dried fruit

DIRECTIONS:

2.Place all ingredients except Mix-ins in bread pan in the order listed.

3.Insert bread pan, close lid and plug in.

4. Select bread type: Press “=” until SWEET is blinking. Press SELECT.

5. Select crust color: Press “a” until LIGHT is blinking. Press SELECT.

6. Press “B” to skip rapid cycle.

7.Select loaf size: Press “a” until LARGE or SMALL is blinking. Press SELECT.

8.Press START. Bread will be done baking in the number of hours indicated. 9.Add Mix-ins when bread maker beeps 3 times (about 15 minutes after starting).
