100% Whole Wheat Bread

Large Loaf (1 l/2 pounds)

1 l/4 cups water

2 tablespoons margarine or butter, softened

3 ;yl&GoId Medal whole wheat

l/4 cup packed brown sugar 1 l/2 teaspoons salt

1 3/4 teaspoons regular active dry yeast

OR

1 314 teaspoons bread machine yeast or quick-acting active dry yeast

Small Loaf (1 pound)

1 cup water

1 tablespoon margarine or butter, softened

2 tablesooons packed brown suaar

1 teaspdon sali

1 l/2 teaspoons regular active dry yeast

OR

1 l/4 teaspoons bread machine yeast or quick-acting active dry yeast

Crunchy Wheat and Honey Bread

Large Loaf (1 l/2 pounds)

1l/4 c u p s w a t e r

3 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons margarine or butter, softened

2 CUDS Gold Medal whole wheat

112cup slivered almonds, toasted 1 1,2 teaspoons salt

1 l/4 teaspoons regular active dry yeart

OR

1 l/4 teaspoons bread machine yeast or quick-acting active dry yeast

Small Loaf (1 pound)

314cup plus 2 tablespoons water

2tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon maraarine or butter

softer;ed -

1 114 cups Gold Medal@ whole wheat flour.

113cup slivered almonds, toasted 1 teaspoon salt

1 l/4 teaspoons regular active dry yeast

OR

1 teaspoon bread machine yeast or quick-acting active dry yeast

DIRECTIONS:

l.Remove bread pan; attach kneading blade

2.Place all ingredients in bread pan in the order listed. 3.lnsert bread pan, close lid and plug in.

4.Select bread type: Press “*” until WHOLE WHEAT is blinking. Press SELECT.

5.Select crust color: Press “x-” until desired color is blinking. Press SELECT.

6.lf rapid cycle is desired, press SELECT when RAPID is blinking. Or press s if rapid cycle is not desired 7Select loaf size: Press “*” until LARGE or SMALL is blinking. Press SELECT.

8.lf delay bake option is desired, press HR and MIN to set timer.

9.Press START. Bread will be done baking in the number of hours indicated.
