WARNING: Never heat oil or shorteningdwithout keeping an eye on it. A fire m start!
To fry, use the proper oil or shortening, for example, vegetable shortening. Add shortening in small pieces. Make sure to add enough shortening to the pan. F least two fingers worth.
Mixes are not recommended, for example, oil with shortening or different types shortening. Hot oil or shortening may foam.
