Videoconference Main Screen

When a call has been established the conference operation is run from this screen. The fundamentals of SOURCE SELECTION and DEVICE CONTROL mirror that of Local Display Operation.

The screen has five sections:

MAIN VIDEO DISPLAY shows either the LOCAL VIDEO SOURCE or the REMOTE SITE(S) depending on the conference requirements

CONFIDENCE DISPLAY shows either the currently selected VIDEO SOURCE or the REMOTE SITE(S). This source confirms to the user that the remote is still connected or the status of the local source selection.

DEVICE CONTROL presents controls specific the chosen video source will be displayed. If the device has no associated controls this area will be blank.

SOURCE SELECTION allows the available video sources to be selected.

TASKBARis where the functions relevant to the current system operation will be displayed.

Video Window Display Control

Touching the smaller confidence video window will bring its image to prominence in the Main Video Display with the main screen image moving to the Confidence display. The ‘Remote View’ and ‘You are sending’ headings will change to follow the appropriate video sources23456789012345.
