Connecting to a Local Management Terminal

The following section describes the physical connection of the 7600 Card

to a local terminal via the CELLplex 7000 switch.

All interface cards in the CELLplex 7000 can be managed via the serial

port, using an RS-232 connection through a female 9-pin D-type

connector.

During installation, use a shielded cable for the management connector.

The CELLplex 7000 switch module’s serial port is set to function with the

connected equipment according to the following values:
