The purpose of the Fast Ethernet LEDs is to display the connection status and traffic status on the corresponding Fast Ethernet port. These are displayed according to the following table:

Table 2-4Fast Ethernet Port LEDs

LED (Color)	Meaning
Link status (Green)	The port is connected.
Packet status (*Orange)	There is active traffic on the port.
Link and Packet (Green and Orange)	The port is connected and traffic is flowing
	into the port.
Off	The port is not connected.

* The orange light intensity indicates the traffic percentage
