Specifies the port type.

 

 

 

• NULL: NULL type port

 

 

 

• PAD: PAD type port

 

 

 

• X25: X25 type port

 

 

 

• SDLC: SDLC hpad/tpad

 

 

 

• FRI: Frame Relay Interface port

 

 

 

• ATPAD: ATPAD type port

 

 

 

• PPP: PPP type port

 

 

 

 

Connection Type

Description:

Specifies the control signal handshaking required for a connection

 

to be made to this port.

 

• SIMP: Simple, no control signals required

 

• DTR: Dedicated, require the data terminal ready signal (DTR)
