High Availability Page
Use the High Availability page to define a group of hubs as an HA group.
Note When editing a VPN topology,the High Availability tab is used. The elements of
the tab (except for the buttons) are identical to those that appear on the High
Availabilitypage. For more information, see Editing a VPN Topology, page 9-24.
HighAvailability may be configured only in a hub-and-spoke VPN topology when
IPSecis the assigned technology. For more information about the prerequisites for
configuring high availability, seeUnderstanding High Availability, page 9-48.
Navigation Path
Whencreating a hub-and-spoke VPN topology, open the Create VPN Wizard,
page B-8, then click Next on the Endpoints page.
Whenediting a hub-and-spoke VPN topology, click the High Availabilitytab
in the Edit VPN dialog box.
Frequency How often Response Time Reporter (RTR) should be used to detect
loss of performance on the primary route. The default is every 60
seconds.
Threshold The rising threshold in milliseconds that generates a reaction event
and stores history information for the RTRoperation. The default is
5000 ms.
OK button Saves yourchanges locally onthe client and closes the dialog box.
Cancel button Closes the dialog box without saving your changes.
Help button Opens help for this dialog box.
