For general grouping of items in a picker, you should only use a dotted
separator line, never a solid separator line. The solid separator line is
reserved for setting apart choices related to storage, such as the names of
available card stores and the internal store, at the bottom of a picker (see
“Folder Tab” on page 8-19).

A list picker can pop up from a text button or text label marked with a black
diamond (). In addition, a picker can pop up from a picture button or a hot
spot, but for aesthetic reasons picture buttons and hot spots are not marked
with black diamonds. Figure 4-5 shows pickers from those four sources.
