Changing System Administration Information

To change the IntraSwitch’s name, location, or contact information:

Open the System Administration Configura- tion Menu by typing a in the Configuration Menu.

Type the command letter of the item to be changed in the System Administration Config- uration Menu.

Type the information at the prompt.

See Table 5-4 for a description of each param- eter.

ΔNote: Each parameter is limited to 64 char- acters, including spaces.

To cancel a selected option, press ctrl-cat the command prompt.

4 Press Return.

The IntraSwitch’s system administration information is changed.

To quit and return to the Configuration

Menu, type q.

System IP Configuration

This menu displays and allows you to change the information needed to access the IntraSwitch over the network via in-band management.

To access the System IP Configuration Menu, type i in the Configuration Menu. A screen similar to Figure 5-5 appears.
