state. After the connection is established, the call can be disconnected only by an operator. If you hang up after the connection has been made, the IP Deskphone switches to loudspeaker. If the loudspeaker is already on, and you press the hang up button, nothing happens. The call is not disconnected.

When you make an emergency call, the location of the IP Deskphone is forwarded to the PSAP.

Note: When the IP Deskphone is waiting for the user to log on or it is blocked by a screen saver, you can still make an emergency call. If you pick up the handset, a message "Emergency calls only" appears and the IP Deskphone can be used for making only emergency calls.

To make an emergency call:

1.Choose one of the following:

Pick up the handset.

Press the handsfree button.

Press the headset button.

Note: Hang up or switch off the handset to return to normal state.

2.Dial the emergency number that is provided by your dialing plan.

3.Press the Send context-sensitive soft

Sendkey.

Note: If you try to dial the number that does not match the dialing plan, a message appears to inform you that the number is incorrect.
