Using your Avaya 1220 IP Deskphone

 

Press the Applications key to access

(Applications)

external server applications.

 

 

Press the Headset key to answer a call

 

using the headset or to switch a call from the

(Headset)

handset or handsfree to the headset.

 

Note: The Headset LED indicator, located

 

on the Headset key, lights to indicate that

 

the headset is in use.

(Goodbye)

(Quit)

Press the Goodbye key to terminate an active call.

When a message is waiting, the red Visual Alerter/Message Waiting indicator LED at the top center of the phone flashes. The indicator also flashes to indicate an incoming call. Each alert has a unique flash cadence.

Note: You may also hear an audio Message Waiting Indicator (stutter or beeping dial tone) when you go off-hook.

Press the Conference Key (programmable memory button) to initiate conference.

Press the Quit key to exit an active menu or dialog box. The status of the active call remains unaffected if you press the Quit key.
