8.7.1Field Terminated Network Cable

The Northstar 8000i Field terminating kit is a waterproof RJ45 connector. It is used when a pre-terminated network cable is not suitable for the situation at hand, such as a difficult cable run. Following the instructions below it can be used to terminate either NS004717 Network cable, which comes in 328 ft (100 m) lengths or to re-terminate any Northstar 8000i Network cable which may have had a connector cut off to pass through a bulkhead
