4When you are finished, close the feeder cover until it clicks.

5Reconnect the power cord and turn on the power.

Cleaning the roller

Clean the roller when envelopes do not feed correctly.

Follow this procedure to perform roller cleaning:

1Remove any print media from the multi-purpose tray.

2Press [Menu].

3Use [2] or [3] to select <MAINTENANCE>.

4Press [Set].

5Use [2] or [3] to select <ROLLER CLEANING>.

6Press [Set].

7When cleaning has finished, repeat this procedure twice more. Then load letter-size plain paper and repeat this procedure a further three times from step 2.
