Registering one-touch speed dialing

Before you can use one-touch speed dialing ( p. 7-8), you need to register the recipients’ numbers. Follow this procedure:

Press [Menu].

Use [2] or [3] to select <USER DATA>.

Press [Set] three times.

4Use [2] or [3] to select a one-touch speed dialing key (01 to 10).

•You can also select a key by pressing the one-touch speed dialing key.

5Press [Set] twice.

6Use the numeric keys to enter the fax/telephone number you want to register (max. 120 digits, including spaces and pauses).

•For details on how to enter or delete numbers, see p. 6-1.

7Press [Set] twice.

8Use the numeric keys to enter a name for the one-touch speed dialing key (max. 16 characters, including spaces).

•For details on how to enter or delete characters, see p. 6-1.

9Press [Set].

10To continue registering one-touch speed dialing keys, repeat the procedure from step 4.

Press [Stop/Reset] to return to standby mode.

NOTE

•Use the destination labels provided with your machine to label the one-touch speed dialing keys with the recipients’ names.

• For a list of the recipients you have registered, print the one-touch speed dialing list ( p. 7-9).
