If the error is still unresolved, there is a possibility that you are using a digital camera or digital video camcorder that is not supported by this printer. Use a digital camera or digital video camcorder compatible with this printer.

Other Error Messages

Cause

Canon IJ Status Monitor is

displayed.

Action

If the Canon IJ Status Monitor is displayed, follow the on-screen instructions.

If an error occurs during printing, a message indicating this error will be displayed. Follow the on-screen instructions.

One of the following Windows error messages is displayed outside the Canon IJ Status Monitor.

"Could not spool successfully due to insufficient disk space" Increase the amount of free space on the disk by deleting any unnecessary files.

"Could not spool successfully due to insufficient memory" Increase available memory by closing other running applications.

If you still cannot print, restart Windows and retry printing.

"Printer driver could not be found"

Uninstall the printer driver according to the procedure described in the Printer Driver Guide on-screen manual, and then reinstall it.

"Background printing

failed" (Windows Me/Windows 98 only)

Restart Windows and retry printing.

"Could not print Application name

-File name"

Try printing again once the current job is finished.
