*1 To resume printing, you can also press the RESUME/CANCEL button on the printer instead of selecting Continue on the camera.

*2 The ink absorber absorbs ink used during cleaning, for example. If this message appears, you will need to call for servicing to replace the absorber and to check the printer for proper operation.

If You Cannot Resolve the Problem

If you cannot resolve the problem with any of the workarounds in this chapter, please contact the seller of the printer or a Canon service representative.

Canon support staff are trained to be able to provide technical support to satisfy customers.

Attempts by customers to repair or take apart the printer will invalidate any warranty regardless of whether the warranty has expired.

If the printer emits any unusual sound, smoke, or odor, turn it off immediately. Unplug the power cord from the outlet and contact the seller or a Canon service representative. Never attempt to repair or disassemble the printer yourself.
