Opening the Printer Properties Dialog Box (Windows)

The printer properties dialog box can be opened either from an application program, or directly from the Windows Start menu.

Note

The printer properties dialog box can be opened from the My Printer application as well. Double-click the My Printer icon on your desktop and

select Printer Settings.

* My Printer application may not be available depending on your country.

Opening the Printer Properties Dialog Box from Your Application Program

When specifying the print settings before printing, follow the procedure below.

Note

Depending on your application program, the command and menu names may differ, and there may be more steps involved in opening the printer properties dialog box. For details, refer to the instruction manual of your application.

1 In your application program, select the command to print the document.

The Print dialog box can usually be opened by selecting Print on the File menu in your application program.

2 Make sure that Canon iP3300 is selected, and then click

Preferences (or Properties).

The printer properties dialog box opens.

This method is used for printer maintenance and configuring print settings shared among all application programs.
