■Entering Numbers

1Press 6to switch to number mode (:1).

2Press the numeric button that contains the number you want.

• To enter a space, press Space.

3Continue entering other numbers using the numeric buttons.

■Entering Symbols

1Press # repeatedly until the symbol you want appears.

2If you want to enter another symbol, press 2to move the cursor to the right, then press # repeatedly until the symbol you want appears.

Ex:

Correcting a Mistake

You can delete an entire entry by pressing Clear. Alternatively, follow this procedure to correct individual characters:

1Use Oor Pto move the cursor under the incorrect character.

2Press the numeric button that contains the correct letter, to enter it over the incorrect character.

Ex:

•If you are unsure which button to press for the letter you want, see p. 3-2.

3When you have finished making corrections, press Set to register your new entry.
