•Make sure you install the toner cartridge properly (p. 2-13).

■Printout does not match paper size.

The paper may not be loaded correctly.

•Make sure the paper stack is loaded correctly in the multi-purpose tray (p. 2-16).

■Printout is skewed.

The paper may not be loaded correctly.

•Make sure the paper delivery slots are clear.

■Paper jams occur.

You may not be using the correct paper delivery slot.

• Select the correct paper delivery slot (p. 5-4).

■Printout is not clear.

You may not be using the correct paper type.

•Make sure you load paper that meets the requirements for the FAX (p. 5-2).

You may be printing on the wrong side of the paper.

•Some papers have a “right” side for printing. If the print quality is not as clear as you would like it to be, try turning the paper over and printing on the other side.

■Printout has vertical white streaks.

Toner may be low or unevenly distributed.

•Redistribute the toner inside the toner cartridge (p. 12-7). If the problem persists, replace the toner cartridge (p. 12-7).
