Exporting the Adapter Configuration

Theadapter configuration can be exported as an XML file to a TFTP server.
Before You Begin
Obtainthe TFTP server IP address.
Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Server tab.
Step 2 Onthe Server tab, clickInventory.
Step 3 Inthe Inventory pane, clickthe Network Adapters tab.
Step 4 Inthe Adapter Cards area,select the adapter card.
Ifthe server is poweredon, the resources of the selected adapter card appear in the tabbed menu below the
AdapterCards area.
Step 5 Inthe tabbed menu below the Adapter Cards area, clickthe General tab.
Step 6 Inthe Actions area of theGeneral tab, clickExport Configuration.
TheExport Adapter Configurationdialog box opens.
Step 7 Inthe Export AdapterConfiguration dialog box, update the followingfields:
DescriptionName
TheIP address of theTFTP server to which the adapter configuration
filewill be exported.
TFTPServer IP Address field
Thepath and filename CIMC should use when exporting the file to the
TFTPserver.
Pathand Filenamefield
Step 8 ClickExport Configuration.
