Step 5 Inthe tabbed menu below the Adapter Cards area, clickthe General tab.

Step 6 Inthe Actions area of the Generaltab, clickReset To Defaults and click OK to confirm.

Managing Adapter Firmware

ACisco UCSC-Series network adaptercontains the following firmware components:

• Adapter firmware—The main operating firmware, consisting of an activeand a backup image, can be

installedfrom the CIMC GUI or CLI interface or from the Host Upgrade Utility (HUU). You can upload

afirmware image from either a local file system or a TFTP server.

• Bootloader firmware—The bootloader firmware cannot be installedfrom the CIMC GUI or CLI. You

caninstall this firmwareusing the HostUpgrade Utility.

Before You Begin

Storethe adapter firmware file in the file system of the managing computer.

Procedure

Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Server tab.

Step 2 Onthe Server tab, clickInventory.

Step 3 Inthe Inventory pane, clickthe Network Adapters tab.

Step 4 Inthe Adapter Cards area,select the adaptercard.

Ifthe server is poweredon, the resourcesof the selectedadapter card appear in the tabbed menu below the

AdapterCards area.

Step 5 Inthe tabbed menu below the Adapter Cards area, clickthe General tab.

Step 6 Inthe Actions area of the General tab, click Install Firmware to open the Install Adapter Firmware dialog

box.

Step 7 Inthe Install AdapterFirmware dialog box, select Install from local file, then click Next.

Step 8 ClickBrowse... and locate the adapter firmware file.

Step 9 ClickInstall Firmware.
