Deleting a vNIC

Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Server tab.
Step 2 Onthe Server tab, clickInventory.
Step 3 Inthe Inventory pane, clickthe Network Adapters tab.
Step 4 Inthe Adapter Cards area,select the adaptercard.
Ifthe server is poweredon, theresources of the selected adapter card appear in the tabbed menu below the
AdapterCards area.
Step 5 Inthe tabbed menu below the Adapter Cards area, clickthe vNICs tab.
Step 6 Inthe Host EthernetInterfaces area, select a vNICfrom thetable.
Youcannot delete either of the two default vNICs, eth0 or
eth1.

Step 7 ClickDelete and click OK to confirm.

Before You Begin
• The server must be powered on, or the properties will not display.
• A supported VirtualInterface Card (VIC) must be installed in the chassis and the server must be powered
on.
