Replacing a Cooling Fan Module
NOTE: The procedure for installing each individual fan is the same.

Ensure that the fan handle is upright and lower the fan into its retention base until the fan is fully
seated. Then lower the fan handle until it snaps into place. See Figure 3-4.

Attach the fan module connectors.

If you removed the memory cooling shroud to access the fan modules, replace the shroud. See
"Replacing the Memory Cooling Shroud" on page 54.

Close the system. See "Opening and Closing the System" on page 48.
