Wrong or different positions cause a network malfunction. For a LAN network not in maximum configuration (number of units lower than 4) the "T" Remote Terminal has always the same address code (15).

MANUAL SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION

For a simple set up of the LAN network, it is necessary to clarify same concepts of the MP2000 microprocessor con- trol system:

-Terminal is lack of memory. It is simply an interface from Board "A" and operator.

-Board "A" is the system core and is managing the unit.

-Board "B" is the supporting card for Board "A" with functions described in the manual.

The MP2000 microprocessor control system LAN network is extremely versatile and allows various software configu- rations:

-Boards configuration, for each unit, directly from the unit Terminal (suggested operation).

-Boards configuration of the entire network from any Terminal.

-Boards configuration of the entire network from the Remote Terminal.

Moreover each Board can communicate with max 3 Termi- nals.

For example Board "A" of Unit 1 can communicate with its own Terminal, with Remote Terminal and with Unit 2 Terminal.
