NOTE: If you are not replacing the hard drive, remove the drive from the drive bracket (see Figure 3-11) and insert the empty bracket back into the drive bay.

5Detach the hard-drive bracket from the hard drive by pushing out at the edges of the bracket and removing the hard drive. See Figure 3-11.

6Close the system. See "Closing the System" on page 60.

7Place the system upright on a flat, stable surface.

8Reconnect the system to its electrical outlet and turn the system on, including any attached peripherals.
