Removing the battery carrier | Dell UCSA-901, UCSE-900, UCPA-901

NOTE: It is recommended that you always use a static mat and static strap while working on components in the interior of the system.

2.Open the system.

3.Locate the PERC card on the system board.

4.Remove the PERC card. For more information, see Removing the PERC 9 mini monolithic controller.

5.Disconnect the battery cable from the PERC card.

6.Pull the battery carrier until the tabs on the battery carrier disengage from the PERC card.

7.Pull the battery out of the battery carrier.
