The measurements are averagedtogether until the selected number of measure-
ments to averagehas been reached. Then the calculated average is based on the
selected number of measurements to average.For example, if the selected num-
ber of measurements to averageis selected as 3, the 1st measurement is dis-
played, the1st and 2nd measurements are averaged and displayed, and then the
1st, 2nd, and 3rd measurementsare averaged and displayed. From this point
forwardeach displayed measurement consists of the last three measurements
averagedtogether.
The LR buttonsare used to select a setting. Press theEnter buttontosave
the setting and exit. Press the Exit buttontocancelandtoexittothemenu.
7.1.5 Display Options/Auto-CalThe DISPLAYOPTIONS function is displayed when the measure period is one
second or greater and allowsyou to select the display resolution, decimal char-
acter,and lamp illumination. The AUTO-CAL function is displayed when the
measure period is0.1, 0.2, or 0 .5 secondsand allows a full measurement to be
taken. When the DISPLAYOPTIONS function is selected, the bottom portion
