The user-definedparameters for the thermocouple polynomial conversion are
the coefficientsc0(C0) through c6(C6). The user can specify internal or exter-
nal referencejunction compensation (RJC; see Table 9 on page 125). If external
RJC is selected, the user enters the temperature of the RJC reference in theref-
erence junction temperature (RJT) parameter.
The output of the thermocouple, in millivolts,at 25°C with the reference junc-
tion at0°C, is mV (25°C). For example, for a type K thermocouple, mV(25°C)
is1.0002.
7.2.2 Copy ProbeThe COPYPROBE function allows you to copy a set of probe parameters from
one channelo rmemory location to another. The parameters are copied from the
user selected source channel or memory locationinto the current channel. The
COPY PROBEfunction can be password protected to restrict access. See Sec-
tion 7.5.3, Password, for more information. If this function is password pro-
tected, the user isprompted to enter the password to gain access. If an incorrect
passwordis entered, the display shows the message PASSWORD INCOR-
RECT and access is denied. If the correct password isentered or if this function
is notpassword protected, the bottom portion of the display appears showing
the source channelo r memory location, the probe serial number, and the con-
versiontype. The destination channel or memory location is displayed after the
source channel type is selected.
Use theLR buttons to select the source channel or memory location. Press
the Enter buttonto save the new setting. Press the Exit button to cancel and to
exitto the menu.
