the defaultprobe. The functions that appear in this menu are EDIT PROBE,
COPY PROBE,TEST PROBE, PRINT PROBE, and DEFAULTPROBE.
7.2.1 Edit Probe
The EDITPROBE function allows you to select a probe channel, enter the
probe serialnumber, and select the conversion type and characterization coeffi-
cients and parameters. Youselect the probe channel from one of the four probe
channel setupsor from one of the ten memory setups.
The EDIT PROBEfunction can be password protected to restrict access. See
Section 7.5.3, Password,for more information. If this function is password pro-
tected, the user isprompted to enter the password to gain access. If an incorrect
passwordis entered, the display shows the message PASSWORD INCOR-
RECT and access is denied. If the correct password isentered or if this function
isnot password protected, the bottom portion of the display shows the probe
