Introduction to Security

Foundry introduces a wide range of robust industry-standard security features including:
• Virtual Private Networking
• IPSec encryption and tunneling
• Generalized Router Encryption
• Firewall with private network management (Network Address Translation and Port Address Translation)
This chapter explains each of these features in detail.

Enabling Security Features

The advanced VPN and firewall (advance_vpn) license allows users to manage remote LANs . This license also
includes Basic VPN and Firewall licenses.
