Introduction to Security

Foundry introduces a wide range of robust industry-standard security features including:

•Virtual Private Networking

•IPSec encryption and tunneling

•Generalized Router Encryption

•Firewall with private network management (Network Address Translation and Port Address Translation) This chapter explains each of these features in detail.

Enabling Security Features

The advanced VPN and firewall (advance_vpn) license allows users to manage remote LANs. This license also includes Basic VPN and Firewall licenses.
