■Event ID: 2002
Type:Error
Messages:STXV2002 ERROR An invalid port number has been specified.
Details:
An invalid port number has been specified. The process is canceled.
Change the port number that was specified in the registry, and try again.
■Event ID: 2003
Type:Error
Messages:STXV2003 ERROR VSSHP could not be connected to the backup server.
Details:
VSSHP could not be connected to the backup server. The process is canceled.
Check the following, and try again.
-The IP address that was specified using the Communication Environment Setup function is valid.
To start the Communication Environment Setup function, click the [Start] button – [All Programs]
– [ETERNUS VSS Hardware Provider] – [Communication Environment Setup].
•[For a Server Core environment]
Execute the "Communication Environment Setup Command".
For details, refer to "8.8 Communication Environment Setup Command (stxvsetcommu)"
(page 64).
-The port number that is to be used for the ETERNUS VSS Hardware Provider Communication
Server service is specified in the registry.
-The ETERNUS VSS Hardware Provider Communication Server service is running in the backup
server.
-The port that is used for the ETERNUS VSS Hardware Provider Communication Server service
is open in the security software being used, such as the firewall of the backup server.
■Event ID: 2004
Type:Error
Messages:STXV2004 ERROR Timeout occurred.
Details:
Timeout occurred. The process is canceled.
Perform the following procedure, and try again.
-Check the event logs of the backup sever, and take action according to the output error
message.
-Check the status of the network line and there is no problem in the network.
