Chapter 6 Operation Change
Each function must be executed by users who belong to the Administrators group.

6.1 When Changing the Shadow Copy Destination

Change the Shadow Copy destination using the Target Disk Pool Registration/Deletion function.

■Displaying the Target Disk Pool Registration/Deletion window

Start the Target Disk Pool Registration/Deletion function according to the following procedures.
When the function starts, the Target Disk Pool Registration/Deletion window is displayed.
●Local copy configuration
•For Windows Server 2008
Click the [Start] button – [All Programs] – [ETERNUS VSS Hardware Provider] – [Target Disk Pool
Registration•Deletion].
For a Server Core environment, execute the "Target Disk Pool Registration/Deletion Command".
For details, refer to "8.9 Target Disk Pool Registration/Deletion Command (stxvsetdiskpool)" (page
68).
•For Windows Server 2012
Click the [Start] icon – [Target Disk Pool Registration•Deletion]
For a Server Core environment, execute the "Target Disk Pool Registration/Deletion Command".
