Sending messages

To send a new message

1.Tap the New Message button on the toolbar to display the new message form.

2.• Type an address in the To box OR

•Tap the Address button in the toolbar and choose an address from the list. Before tapping the Address button in the To box, you can type some or all of the first name and/or last name in the address box to get the closest matching names.

The address book lists the email addresses you entered in Contacts. If you are sending the message to more than one person, separate the addresses with semicolons.

3. Tap the down arrow in the To box and complete the rest of the header.

Although it is not required, it is helpful to the recipient to type a Subject line.

4.When finished typing your message, tap the Send button on the toolbar to send it. If you are working offline, the message remains in the Outbox until you connect to your mail server.

Working in the message list

While connected to your mail server, you can update the list of messages by tap- ping the Refresh command on the Service menu.
