Battery Gauge
The following battery levels may be displayed on the status screen, in Live View, in Playback, and when the camera is connected to a computer or printer.

NOTE When using the disposable CP1 battery, you may get more shots after Live View is disabled than you get with the rechargeable lithium ion battery.
NOTE The battery gauge is most accurate after a few minutes of use. When the camera is turned off, the battery recovers and the initial gauge reading when the camera is turned on again may not be as accurate as that obtained after a few minutes of use.
