Resource dialogs guide you through the conﬁguration process and supply default values whenever possible. For example, when you add a dependent LU, the Motif administration program automatically ﬁlls in the LU

number ﬁeld with an available LU number on the link station you specify. If you do not supply a required value, the program presents a message pop-up that indicates the information you need to provide.
