MAINTENANCE
To keep bothyour ICE Flasher Series™ control headand your transducer working
properly,performthe followingmaintenance tasks asneeded.
ICE FLASHER SERIES™ MAINTENANCE
If yourICE Flasher Series™ unit comes intocontact with salt spray,simply wipe the
affectedsurfaces with a clothdampened in fresh water.Do not use a chemical glass
cleaneron the lens,as chemicals in the solutionmay cause crackingin the lens. When
cleaningthe LCDprotective lens, usea chamois and non-abrasive,mild cleaner.Do not
wipewhile dirt or greaseis on the lens. Be carefulto avoid scratchingthe lens.
WARNING:Never leave your ICE Flasher Series™ Fishfinder in a closed car or trunk; the
extremelyhigh temperatures generated in hot weather can damage the electronics.
TRANSDUCER MAINTENANCE
Ifyour transducer remainsout of the water fora long period of time, it maytake some
timeto wet the transducerafter it is returnedto the water. Smallair bubbles can cling
tothe surface ofthe transducer and interferewith properoperation. Thesebubbles will
dissipatewith time,or you may wipe the face of thetransducer with yourfingers after
thetransducer is inthe water.
