COLOR (ICE 55 Only)
ICE 35 Flasherand ICE 45 Flasher use ColorPalette 1 to display sonar
returnson the FlasherDial. The Color Key,availablein the ICE 55 Flasher
only,allows you to choose betweenthree color palettes so that youcan view sonar
returnsignals in higherdetail. (Color Palette1, 2, or 3; Default= Palette 1)
1. Pressthe Color keyto choose Color Palette1, 2, or 3.
2. ICE55 will save thesetting and displaythe palette immediately.Also, the palette
numberwill be shownon the Active Display.

Palette1 (ICE 35/45/55)

Red Strong Signal
Dense, large objects such as fish, thick
vegetation,or hardbottom, are usually displayed
as thickor thin red lines on the Flasher Dial.In
Palette 1, Red indicatesa strong sonar return
signal.

Yellow Medium Signal

Smallobjects such as fish, sparsevegetation, or
softbottom (sand or mud) are usuallydisplayed
as yellowlines on the Flasher Dial.In Palette 1,
Yellowindicatesa medium sonar returnsignal.

Green WeakSignal

Light objectssuch as your jig, bait fish, sparse
vegetation,and sometimes microscopic activity
orturbulence are displayedas green lineson the
FlasherDial. In Palette1, Green indicatesa weak
sonarreturn signal.

NOTE:Thelocation of an objectin
relation to the transducer can
influencehow it appears on the
FlasherDial. For example,a large
object might displayas a weak
sonarreturn signal if it is located
on the outer edges of the
transducer beam, where as a
smallobject located at the topof
thetransducerbeammight display
asa strong sonarreturn signal.
