WHAT’S ON THEACTIVE DISPLAY (ICE 45/55 ONLY)
YourICE Flasher Series™ control head sendsa sound wave signal and determines
distancebymeasuring the timebetween the transmissionof the soundwave and when
thesound wave is reflectedoff of an object.
Asyour Ice Fishingtransducerreceives sonar signals,it convertsthem to a digital depth
that is shown on the ICE Flasher Series™ Active Display. The depth readingis
continuouslyupdated. At initial power-up,the unit will begin normal operationand
displaythe digital depth andthe units of measure. The liquidcrystal display (LCD),or
ActiveDisplay,offers sharp viewing,even in bright,direct sunlight, and is continuously
litfor nighttimeoperation. Thefigure below showsthe many featuresthat are available
onthe Active Displayand where each featurewill be displayed whenyou activate it.
NOTE:Actualdepth capabilitydepends on suchfactors as bottomhardness, waterconditions,and
transducerinstallation.Units willtypically read to deeperdepths in fresh waterthan in salt water.

KEY FUNCTIONS
YourICE FlasherSeries™ Fishfinderuses a number of keysto control the Range,Zoom,
Gain,Noise, Beam,and Color Palette functions.While in normaloperating mode,press
afunction key,such as Gain,turn the Selectiondial to choose a settingfor that function,
thenpress the SelectionDial to complete yourselection.
