BEAM
Beamallows you toswitch the frequencyof your sonar beam. TheBeam
functionallowsyou to eliminate cross-talkinterferencefrom neighboring
fishfindersor to simplychoose the type of beamthat suits your fishingneeds.
Selecting240 kHz will providea wider beam with morecoverage but less detail,while
selecting455 kHz willprovide a narrowerbeam with more resolution.
NOTE: Yourother option is to use the Noise key to reduce cross-talk interference (see
NoiseRejection for moreinformation).
1. Pressthe Beam key totoggle between 240 kHz and455 kHz.
ICE 35
The active frequency is displayed
as a narrow or wide blue line
at the top of the Flasher Dial.
(455 kHz or 240 kHz, whereNarrow
= 455 kHz, and Wide = 240 kHz;
Default= Wide)
ICE 45/55
