Use only ASCII characters for client installation path
There is a known problem with installing the Sametime Connect client to a path that includes DBCS characters, for example, Chinese, Japanese or Korean. Please use only ASCII characters when selecting an installation location for this release.
Sametime Gateway
Warning dialogs do not handle ')' correctly
When running the installation program, strings that contain the ')' character are not handled appropriately when a warning is shown to the user that includes the entered string. This may result in truncated warning messages that do not tell the user the entire cause of the validation error.
Client issues

Cannot set voice chat audio devices on Macintosh clients
The UIM client provides the ability to configure the desired voice chat audio devices in the Preferences window. In this release, this configuration is not possible for Macintosh clients. Configuring audio devices on the Macintosh platform must be done through Apple OS preferences.
