Startup Options

The Startup options group box contains options for behavior if Outlook starts but Sametime is not running.

zAlways launch Sametime when I start Outlook -- Allows you to always launch Sametime if it is not running

zPrompt me to start Sametime -- Allows you to be prompted for the launch of Sametime if it is not running

zDo Not start Sametime -- Configures the settings to run the toolbar without launching Sametime

If the prompt has been selected and Sametime is not running, you are presented with the following dialog

If you check “Do not ask me again” on this dialog and select “Yes”, the setting to always launch Sametime if it is not running will be set.

If you check “Do not ask me again” on this dialog and select “No”, the setting to never launch Sametime if it is not running will be set.

In either of these cases, you will not be prompted again unless you go back to the Options page/Sametime Toolbar and select “Prompt me to start Sametime” again.
