Remote A/B/C/D Code Switching

The remote control is capable of controlling four JVC video recorders independently. Each of recorders can respond to one of four codes (A, B, C or D). The remote control is preset to send A code signals because your video recorder is initially set to respond to A code signals. You can easily modify your video recorder to respond to B, C or D code signals.

PLAY

DISPLAY CODE

1 Hold down VHS or DV on the remote control. The code currently set blinks on the LCD panel.

CHANGE REMOTE

CONTROL'S CODE

2 Press the NUMBER key "1" for A , "2" for B , "3" for C, or "4" for D.

SET REMOTE CONTROL'S CODE

3 Press OK to set the code.

On Recorder

DISPLAY CODE

1 Press PLAY on the recorder over 5 seconds when the recorder is turned off. The code currently set appears on the front display panel.

●If the code displayed on the front display panel is different from the code set on the remote control, go to step 2.

CHANGE RECORDER'S

CODE

2 Press any key on the remote control. The code currently set on the remote control will be applied to the recorder.

NOTE:

During Power Save, it is impossible to change the remote control's code.
